Gregory M. Phillips, MD, FACOG

Greg Phillips, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology) specializing in high-risk pregnancies and minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Phillips also has extensive experience with multiple gestations and vaginal birth after Cesarean surgery. He and his clinic partners are part of the elite high-risk transport team at Willis-Knighton South & the Center for Women’s Health. This transport team works hand in hand with perinatologists, neonatologists and pediatric surgeons to deliver exceptional care to women with high-risk pregnancies throughout North Louisiana, East Texas and Southwest Arkansas. Dr. Phillips is also trained in robotic-assisted surgery and single-site robotic surgery. Dr. Phillips is proficient in office-based procedures like hysteroscopy, long-term contraceptive placement and NovaSure.

A member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Phillips received his board certification in 2013. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2006 and completed his Ob/Gyn residency there as well in 2010.

Dr. Phillips is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Dr. Phillips is active in various leadership roles both personally and within the hospital. He serves as board member of The Hub: Urban Ministries, and as board member of Providence Classical Academy. He and his wife, Betsy, have four children.
